The Scoop
Aroma West's interpretation captures the spicy rose and oud foundation of Atomic Rose reasonably well, though the citrus top notes feel slightly sharper and less refined than the original's balanced opening. The heart and base notes follow the designer structure fairly closely, but the clone lacks some of the sophistication and depth that Initio's formulation provides, particularly in the woody-ambroxan dry-down.
Key Differences
The clone has a more aggressive citrus opening and slightly thinner development in the base, with noticeably shorter longevity (4-5 hours vs 8+ hours on Atomic Rose). The oud presence feels less balanced with the rose in the Aroma West version.
