Saviour captures the fresh, peppery opening and clean lavender-geranium heart of Sauvage quite well, making it a respectable dupe for the price point. However, it lacks the complexity of the original's Sichuan pepper nuance and the depth provided by Labdanum in the base, resulting in a slightly thinner and less sophisticated dry-down. The overall DNA is recognizable but feels more linear and less refined than Dior's multi-dimensional composition.
The clone performs adequately in the top and heart notes but falls short in base depth and longevity, with noticeably less sillage than the original. Saviour also misses some of the original's spicy complexity, presenting as a more straightforward and simplified version of Sauvage.
