Rifaaqat Adorn captures the spicy-floral opening and woody-vanilla drydown of Tuxedo quite competently, with the bergamot and black pepper creating a similar crisp entrance. However, the clone's vanilla and amber bases tend to feel slightly sweeter and less nuanced than YSL's sophisticated bourbon vanilla-ambergris blend, making it read as less refined in the late wear.
The clone performs admirably in the top and heart notes but lacks the subtle complexity of the original's base, with a notably sweeter vanilla projection. Longevity is comparable, though sillage on the clone tends to be slightly softer overall.
