XRJOF Blue Roses captures the citrus opening and spiced floral heart of Blue Hope reasonably well, maintaining the saffron-jasmine interplay that defines the original. However, the clone tends to soften the animalic depth, with less pronounced castoreum presence, resulting in a slightly more linear and less complex dry-down compared to Xerjoff's layered base.
The clone lacks the raw castoreum intensity that gives Blue Hope its distinctive animal-leather character, making it cleaner but less memorable in the base. Longevity and sillage are also notably reduced compared to the original's performance.
