Icy Roses by Fragrance World captures the crisp, floral opening of Roses On Ice reasonably well, with a comparable bergamot and pepper top that transitions into a rosy heart. However, the clone's base lacks the complex vetiver and patchouli depth found in Kilian's original, instead relying on softer amber for longevity, which makes it feel less sophisticated and slightly sweeter overall.
The clone has a brighter lemon note instead of grapefruit in the top, and a noticeably lighter, less woody base that shortens longevity by 2-3 hours. Fragrance World's version also projects less sillage and leans more feminine-sweet compared to the original's icy, balanced composition.
