Angelic Elixir captures the warm, boozy sweetness of Angels Share reasonably well, with comparable vanilla and tonka bean prominence in the heart. However, the clone typically shows slightly less complexity in the woody-mossy base, with vetiver and oakmoss appearing softer and less defined compared to Kilian's richer, more structured interpretation.
The original offers greater depth and longevity in the base notes, while Angelic Elixir tends to be more straightforward and linear. Dua's version may also lack some of the cognac's realistic boozy facets that give Angels Share its distinctive character.
